I'm Ofri (O-f-ree) Paz, interior designer (B.Des from Shenkar College of Engineering and Design), interior stylist, content creator, writer and blogger, married to Rafael, mother of Robin and Libby and our furry sweety Louie.
A long title, I know.
In the past people knew only a small portion of me and what I did. Some knew me as a reporter for the Israeli website Mako Living, as a quarter of the Sharon Hibsh studio (which publishes architecture books, among many other things), as a designer, lecturer or blogger. I have become quite familiar with the surprised reactions people get when they discover that those are all the same Ofri. Add young motherhood to all of that and the fact that I relocated from Israel to Berlin in 2018 and you will get a midlife crisis at thirty something.
Design is in the center of everything that I do, it is the language that all my different projects speak and the focus of every piece of content that I write.
This collection of titles, which used to give me a slight feeling of “multiple personalities”, and the big changes that occurred in my life in the past few years could have made me lose myself. Instead it made me even more focused and centered. The core of all my ideas and projects is exactly as it always was, my passion for design and writing.
Design is in the center of everything that I do, it is the language that all my different projects speak and the focus of every piece of content that I write. Being a designer and a writer allows me to explore the field from different angles, inside and out, and to keep learning and expanding my horizons.
This blog is me. It’s a little bit of everything. Here I write about everything that I find interesting as a woman, a mother and a designer. I write about interior design, interview creative people from different fields and share my recommendations, travels and experiences, both personal and professional.
